Dr. Applewhite has been with West County Radiology since 1985. In 2005 he became the Chairman of the Department of Radiology. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology. He graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine and did his residency at the St. Louis University Hospitals. He did his fellowship in pediatric radiology at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. He is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Missouri and Illinois. Dr. Applewhite serves as a councilor in the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society. He also belongs to the Society for Pediatric Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the Greater St. Louis Society of Radiologists.
