West County Radiology is an approved provider for most insurance carriers and health plans. Please click on the link to the left to see if we are a network provider for your health insurance.
Most insurance plans currently require a preapproval and/or notification prior to performing radiological procedures. Please check with your insurance plan and/or the referring physician's office to see if this is necessary. If you do not obtain a preapproval or notification, you may be charged for the entire cost of the study.
If you do not have health insurance, please contact our billing office at 314-991-8200 or toll free at 1-800-449-6145, and we can help you make payment arrangements. We do accept both Mastercard and Visa.
Once your insurance makes a payment and/or adjustment for the services performed, we will transfer the account to patient responsibility and begin mailing out statements. The first statement will come shortly after we have received the remittance advice from the insurance company or shortly after the services are performed if you are paying for the services yourself. You will receive a second statement in approximately 30 days. If we need additional information to process your account, such as secondary insurance information, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid going into a collections status. |
