Dr. Thomasson has been with West County Radiology since 1988. In 2005 he became the President of the group. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Neuroradiology. He graduated from Washington University School of Medicine and did his residency at St. Louis University Medical Center. He did his fellowship in neuroradiology through the combined program at St. Louis University/St. John's Mercy Medical Center. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Missouri. Dr. Thomasson belongs to numerous organizations and holds officer positions in many of them. These include the American College of Radiology (Councilor), American Medical Society, American Society of Neuroradiology, St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society (past-President), Radiological Society of North America, Greater St. Louis Society of Radiologists (past-President), St. Louis Society of Neurologic Sciences, American Roentgen Ray Society, Missouri Radiological Society (past-President), Washington University School of Medicine Alumni Association (President), St. Louis City Hospital Alumni Association (President), andHealthcare Services Group (Chairman of the Board).
